After you have read this page, click the button at the bottom to begin your test. After completing this module, you will be able to . . .
- Analyze historical documents and events that set the ideological foundations for the U.S. Constitution and the relationship between the military and the Constitution over time. [1.1.1]
- Appraise the historical impact of war, violence, combat, weapons, and industrialization on the nation. [1.1.2]
- Identify and classify the various types of weapons and equipment used by the military over history compared to the present. [1.1.3]
- Analyze the purpose, organization, powers, and function of the U.S. government and the U.S. military using primary and secondary source documents (Articles I, II, III of the US Constitution), including the legislative, executive, and judicial branches and their powers and limits. [2.1.1.]
- Evaluate ethics, values, and oaths related to service in the National Guard and/or branches of the U.S. military. [2.1.2.]
- Explore the various ranks, roles, and types of military service within the National Guard and/or branches of the U.S. military. [5.2]
Timing
This test will take you approximately 40 minutes.
Grading
After you submit the test, you will be able to see your score when clicking on the activity or looking in your grade book. Your score may not appear until your teacher grades it if there are any essay questions.
Completion
You will know you have completed the quiz once you have submitted your answers and received a score. Also, a checkmark will appear next to the activity in the module once complete. You may go back and review your answers after submitting them.
