What is this page?

Virtual Arkansas students may be working from a variety environments. This quiz helps them determine which yearly lesson best applies to them and automatically personalizes the lesson they are given based on that information.

Overview

All students must complete the Virtual Arkansas Gateway each year. Even if you took Virtual Arkansas classes last year, you still need to complete the Gateway for this year. This orientation module helps you to be successful in your courses and updates you on new features you may need to understand. Some students take multiple courses with Virtual Arkansas, but you only need to do the gateway in one of your courses. The purpose of this quiz is to determine whether or not you need to complete the Virtual Arkansas Gateway in this particular course or if you have already started in another course.  It will also confirm for your teacher that you have taken care of the Gateway requirements. Note: This quiz is not for a grade, but is used to open or close the gateway lesson for you. When you submit the quiz, you may see feedback that says you are correct/incorrect. Ignore this feedback and continue. It will either take you to this year's Gateway or take you to the next page of the Getting Started module.

Based on your response, your module will either reveal this year's Gateway Lesson for you to complete, or if you choose that you already started it in another Virtual Arkansas class, it will keep the Gateway Lesson hidden and send you to your class citizenship discussion.
