What is this page?

For students who take a course with a Virtual Arkansas teacher, they are required to complete a syllabus quiz to ensure they understand important requirements and terminology related to the class.

Overview

This activity consists of several questions about the course syllabus. You will take this quiz in every course you have. Some of the questions will be the same in each course, and some will be different. It is important that you demonstrate your understanding of the syllabus which outlines the direction and purpose of the course.  This activity is graded and is worth 10 points.

Assessment Instructions

For this activity, you may use your course syllabus. You will need to use two browser tabs. One tab will have the quiz and questions, the second tab will have your syllabus.  To get your two browser tabs, right click on the word "Syllabus" from the course menu on the left. Choose to open in a new browser tab.  Leave that tab open and click the course browser tab to return to this page.  You may go back and forth between tabs while answering questions. If you would like to see both screens at the same time, ask your facilitator for assistance in how to do a split screen view on your computer.

 

Timing

This activity will take you approximately 1 class period or less.

 

 

Completion

You will know you have completed the quiz when you have answered all questions and hit the submit button. A check mark will appear next to the item on the course page.  You will also be able to see your score when clicking on the activity or looking in your gradebook.
