Module 2 Exit Test A

Overview

This exit test will allow you to show your understanding of important module objectives. The test consists of 20 questions and is worth 100 points.

• distinguish between local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• classify layers of software within various platforms.
• interpret IP addresses.
• identify common network protocols.
• explain features related to internet security.
• identify ways cybercriminals try to access information.
• use my knowledge of networks to protect information from cybercriminals.
• explain the role of software and hardware in protecting user information.
• describe the role of firewalls in protecting user information.

After you have read this page, click the button at the bottom to begin your test. If your test does not open, it may mean that you need to use LockDown Browser or there may be other restrictions preventing you from accessing. Your test may also require a password that your facilitator will have to type in for you. Students are not allowed to have test passwords.   It is important that you review concepts from the module and spend time studying before you begin the test.  Let your facilitator and teacher know if you have any trouble accessing the test.

  • Any other means of cheating, plagiarism or dishonest participation that could be considered in violation of the academic dishonesty policy

 

 

Timing

This activity will take you approximately 40 minutes.

 

 

Completion

You will know you have completed the quiz when you have answered all the questions and hit the submit button. A checkmark will appear in the box next to the item on the course page. You will also be able to see your score when clicking on the activity or looking in your gradebook.
